DRIVING RECORDS BY STATE

Your driving records are an important part of your Virginia traffic ticket case. Under the Code of Virginia § 46.2-943, Judges are authorized to consider the defendant’s prior traffic record before sentencing.

Your good driving records can help your Attorney advocate for a reduction or dismissal of your case. Because Virginia law enforcement officers and courts do not access your home state driving records, most Courts expect you to provide a copy of your record to the court.

Once your records are obtained, please upload to our Dropbox or  email to [email protected]
